Backhaus 5”

A 5-inch Backhaus forceps, or towel clamp, is a surgical instrument made of stainless steel with a scissor-like scissor-like design and finger rings, used by surgeons to secure sterile surgical drapes to the patient’s skin during a procedure, defining the surgical site and ensuring a clear operating view. Its inwardly-curved jaws grasp both the drapes and underlying skin, while a boxlock mechanism and locking ratchet provide stability and control for the surgeon.
